Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or simply interested in learning to sail, you’ll find our casual club very welcoming. Your membership includes all persons in your immediate family, or two adults sharing a household, and all dependent children.

Don’t Have a Boat?

Join and learn to sail on one of the MSC small sailboats. Currently, we have an Alcort Sunfish, an Alcort Puffer and an O’Day 17 available. You’ll find Muncie Sailing Club an ideal place to learn the ropes in a relaxed and supportive environment. Our members are eager to help new sailors whether it’s assistance in selecting a boat, rigging your boat properly, minor boat repair, or tips on sailing technique.

2026 Membership Fees

Annual Club Fee $325
New Member Initiation Fee $200 (first year only)
Annual Floating Dock Slip Fee $300 (first 3 years only)
Annual Prairie Creek Permit Fees:
- $45 (Kayak/Paddle Board/Sail Board)
- $45 (Dry Slip – Boat kept on trailer)
- $560 (Wet Slip – Boat in water)

Optional
- Annual Locker Rental Fee $5
- Annual Ice Chest Program Fee $20
