A couple months ago an audit was conducted on the clubhouse to determine if any special repairs would be required to open the house. In the audit it was noted that almost every window had rotted wood in the sash, the sill and the trim. While the rot does not appear to have permeated the structure and there is no apparent internal damage there are areas where the wood is so rotted that daylight is present where it should not be. As a result 3 quotes were obtained to replace 8 windows and rotted sills with vinyl windows and wrapping the trim with aluminum and a proper pitch on the sills to shed watering snow. The bids were $4161 from Jeff Eiler from Huntington, $3711.60 from Williams Windows out of Daleville and $3600 from Guttermaker of Anderson. At the March board meeting the board approved proceeding with the purchase of new windows from Guttermaker. Guttermaker was selected because we have a history with them on the work they did with the gutters, soffit and facia work completed in the fall plus they were the lowest bidder and they offered a blue  aluminum for the trim. We  expect work to start at the end of April or early May and provided there are no surprises work would be completed in a day or two.

We look forward to having this project completed and protecting the clubhouse from deterioration.
