Hello,
I am Samuel Gradle from the Muncie Bureau of Water Quality. I am monitoring the invasive species Dreissena polymorpha (aka. zebra mussels) in Prairie Creek Reservoir. As in past, we plan to attach a zebra mussel sampler to the floating dock at your sailing club sometime later this week. It will be attached to the L-shaped dock next to the ramp on the inner corner. It’s a cinderblock surrounded by a PVC pipe cage, set deep so it should not be an issue for boats. Please notify your club members of its presence and function to minimize tampering. We greatly appreciate it.
