Spring is on the way! Before we know it we will be launching boats and enjoying the warm water. The club web site has been updated and is operating properly to accept on line membership payments. For those who wish to use the traditional paper system the form will be attached to this email for your use. March 15 is the due date for membership applications. This date is critical because slip assignments for returning members occurs immediately after March 15 . For those who have already made payments we thank you for the quick payment.

The final version of the Prairie Creek rules have not been released and will not be released until the City Council completes their review of the ordinances. It may take until the end of March before the rules are issued. At this time we do not expect any surprises and the changes that are being proposed will definitely will be a positive move as far as we are concerned. In addition to the rule changes there is significant discussion about. Improving security and rule enforcements at the reservoir. It is likely that not all the changes being discussed will be totally implemented this season. As we get more information we will pass that on.

By mid-April we expect to have the A Dock permanently installed and the new slips added. Work on the bridge crane to place the concrete anchors is ongoing. The purpose of the crane is to allow us to safely and accurately place the concrete anchors. Once the anchors are placed we will dismantle the bridge crane and use the two sections of EZ Dock on the west side of the launch ramp to improve the working area at the launch ramp. The sections used on the west side of the ramp will be 80” wide which is 20” wider than the main walkway used on A and B docks.

The Spring Banquet is planned for March 19, 2023 and details will be coming out shortly. Watch the web site and your email for details about the banquet. Aside from the opportunity to visit with old friends, have a good meal this is a great time to learn more about the upcoming season or ask questions. Save the date!
