Unfortunately three trees on the club property have been identified as a safety hazard by the city of Muncie and they will bye removing them shortly. The trees are all old oak trees located near the fire /beach area and the pavilion. The removal will occur prior to the sailing so there should be no interference with the launching of boats. This will eliminate a significant amount of shade near the beach area but the good news is that they are looking at replanting trees that are natural to the area and in a random pattern. If other information becomes available we will share if as it becomes available.
